Hi, I’m Sarah Dupré, a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Landmine University Level II Strength Coach, and certified GOATA Groundwork instructor based in Oak Park, Illinois. With a background in the arts (MFA) and a lifelong commitment to movement—first through basketball and softball, and now through strength training and skateboarding—I see fitness as more than just exercise. Movement is how we connect to ourselves, to others, and to the world around us.

I work with a wide range of clients in Oak Park, including young athletes, aging individuals, peri- and post-menopausal women, and pre- and postpartum mothers. My approach emphasizes strength training, balance, and sustainability—not just for athletic performance but also for bone health, mental resilience, and overall well-being.

As a former adjunct professor, I take an educational approach to training. I don’t just coach workouts—I teach people how to move. My goal is to help you understand your body, so you’re not just going through the motions but building strength and movement patterns that support you for life. I’ve seen firsthand how strength training transforms lives: a mother I work with can now hold her child longer, and a client with brain damage has improved recall and neuroplasticity. Whether it’s increasing bone density, building muscle, improving movement efficiency, or simply feeling more capable, fitness is a tool for autonomy, confidence, and connection.

Let’s train for strength, for movement, and for life!
